The principle of mechanical steam compression MVR or MVC (mechanical vapor compression) evaporator is to use the steam compressor to compress the secondary steam generated by evaporation to improve the heat and temperature of the secondary steam. The compressed steam is pumped into the evaporator as a heat source to evaporate its stock solution again, so that no external fresh steam is required, The purpose of evaporation and concentration depends on the self circulation of the evaporator system. The temperature, pressure and motor speed of the system are controlled by engineering software such as PLC control system and configuration software to maintain the stable, efficient and intelligent operation of the evaporator.
1) Without waste heat steam emission, the energy-saving effect is very significant, which is equivalent to 10 effect evaporator.
2) The counter current washing of secondary steam can be realized by using this technology, so the dry matter content of condensate is much lower than that of multi effect evaporator.
3) Low temperature negative pressure evaporation (50-90 ℃) is used to prevent the high-temperature denaturation of evaporated materials.
MVR evaporator is a new generation of traditional multi effect falling film evaporator. It is reused by countercurrent washing and recompression of secondary steam on the basis of single effect evaporator. All materials suitable for single effect and multi effect evaporators are suitable for MVR evaporators, which are technically completely replaceable, and have better environmental protection and energy saving characteristics. Due to its remarkable energy-saving effect, MVR evaporator technology began to develop rapidly abroad in the 1970s and has been widely used in many production fields, such as industrial wastewater treatment, dairy, sugar making, starch, alumina, papermaking, caprolactam, seawater desalination, coking plant (recovering sulfur dioxide to produce sulfur ammonia), salt chemical industry and so on.
