Each batch of tomatoes has its unique characteristics. When dealing with high-volume products, the high controllability of the surpassing decanter core controller and direct drive gearbox enables manufacturers to run tests and adjustments quickly and effectively without wasting time mechanically changing machine settings.
The process of filtering tomato paste is similar to ketchup. However, the key factor is viscosity. The pulp must have the correct viscosity to prevent serum separation when pouring into the final product.
In order to obtain better yield, refiners and pulpers are usually used to produce dry cakes and high juice yield. However, the disadvantage of this method is that a large amount of mold remains in the juice.
Separation is a key part of the repair phase of the process. By removing all existing mold, separating the pulp and clarifying the juice, the manufacturer can control the color, mold content and viscosity of the final product.These are the key parameters that determine the quality, so they will have an impact on the value downstream of the value chain.
By adjusting refiners and pulpers to produce wet filter cakes, followed by subsequent treatment with turbine presses and centrifuges, manufacturers can reduce mold content with little loss of juice. Our centrifuge can remove juice from all molds.
Transparent juice can then be mixed with other products to reduce mold content. This effective mold control enables manufacturers to improve the quality, color and value of products.

Viscosity control of tomato processing line
Viscosity is a very important factor in the production of ketchup, because it directly affects the final product.
Tomato juice from refineries usually contains 38 – 45% pulp. The purpose of this is to produce a slurry, and the maximum possible content of the slurry can still be effectively pumped into the evaporator, because this can reduce the evaporation cost.
The transparent juice from the sedimentation centrifuge can be used to adjust the color and viscosity of the paste until the desired characteristics are achieved. However, it can also be used in other related production processes, such as diced and peeled tomatoes. This ensures that nothing is wasted and enables the company to diversify its product line.
Here, the super centrifuge is also an ideal centrifuge because it can achieve rapid response and effective viscosity control.
