Pomegranate seed extraction in pomegranate processing line

After the peel is removed, the pomegranate seeds are sent to the screw juicer. A helical shaft pushes them forward into a reduced cavity where they are extracted into juice under high pressure. The extracted juice flows into the container through the screening machine, while the grain and slag are discharged through the annular gap at the end of the machine. The parts connecting the screw juicer and the raw materials are made of stainless steel. Automatic slag removal can be realized. The closed structure prevents the oxidation of the juice and keeps the taste and nutrient content as much as possible.

Clarification of pomegranate juice in pomegranate processing line

Usually, the extracted pomegranate juice contains some suspended solids that need to be removed. So that it is pumped into the treatment tank after extraction. Enzymes and chemicals can accelerate the separation. This treatment lasts 3-4 hours. When the pomegranate juice is completely clarified, it is sent to the filtration system.

The juice fine filter adopts the high-speed centrifugal principle. The pulp can be crushed to below 0.8mm for further concentration or fermentation.

Aseptic filling of pomegranate processing line

Sterilization is a necessary process to eliminate bacteria and prevent fermentation in fruit juice production. It can destroy enzymes and thus inhibit harmful reactions.
